What is Assessing progress in science?

Assessing Progress in Science is a set of formative assessment materials for teachers of KS1, 2 and 3. The materials have been informed from several sources. Cripsatís research over two decades into childrenís understanding of science. The Centreís work in national and international assessment of childrenís learning. The authors have also drawn on research conducted by colleagues at other institutions such as CLISP.



Aims of the Assessing progress in Science project

These materials aim to support teachers at KS1, KS2 and KS3 in their formative assessment of science.
